Hello Parents and Students,

As February progresses along I have a few reminders for you to mark on you calendars.

1.  CSAP testing will begin March 1.  We will be taking 3 tests per day for the first three days of the week.  These are going to be long days for the kids so please make sure your child gets a good night sleep.  It is really hard to get the kids caught up on any tests that they might miss so perfect attendence is highly recommended.

2.  Parent Teacher Conferences are March 9, before spring break.  We have these conferences earlier because this is the mid-point of Second Semester and with these conferences we hope your child can do whatever is needed to end the Semester with the grade they want.

3.  Spring Break is the third week of March, actually it starts March 12.  This should be a nice reward to the hard work the kids put in on their CSAP tests.

4.  The kids will be researching a person or place in Colorado's History.  I am letting you know about this so you can decide as a family what topic might interest you all. The kids will be researching, interviewing, and writing an essay that will be entered in the Bent County Historical Society Writing Contest.
